Increasing adrenal output is another superior way to maximize overall body fat reduction. This technique enhances fat loss by increasing your metabolic rate, or the amount of energy (calories) expended in a given period. The adrenal glands, which are also called suprarenal glands, are small, triangular glands located on top of both kidneys. An adrenal gland is made of two parts: the outer region is called the adrenal cortex and the inner region is called the adrenal medulla. Our product development team concluded that we could bend the outer limits of adrenal output by combining the following components: 1) An advanced blend of beta adrenergic agonists, 2) An innovative vanilloid receptor agonist, 3) A novel prostaglandin inhibitor, 4) A unique blend of cardiovascular stabilizers, and 5) A breakthrough adenosine phosphate modulator.

The first mechanism found in D4 to help increase your metabolic rate involves beta adrenergic agonists. These agonists stimulate the adrenal medulla to release catecholamines in the form of epinephrine, or adrenalin, and norepinephrine, or noradrenaline. These catecholamines bind to beta receptor sites and activate HSL, or hormone sensitive lipase. HSL hydrolyzes (breaks down) triglycerides, or stored fats, into free fatty acids and glycerol to be utilized as an energy source. After testing various compounds for their stimulatory response levels, we developed a novel combination of standardized herbs. This advanced blend, which is exclusively found in D4 , contains the following components: Embelic Myrobalan Extract, Caffeine, and Octopamine HCL.

Another mechanism found in D4 to help increase your metabolic rate involves an innovative vanilloid receptor agonist called Evodiamine. This agonist binds to vanilloid receptor subtype 1, which allows an influx of calcium and sodium ions to react to sensory nerve cells called nociceptors. They send signals to the processing centers in the spinal cord and the brain which leads to an elevation in metabolic rate via the following pathways: 1) Increased levels of uncoupling proteins in brown adipose, or fat tissue and 2) Enhanced catecholamine release from the adrenal medulla.

A third mechanism we added to D4 to help increase your metabolic rate involves a novel prostaglandin inhibitor. Prostaglandins are a group of modified fatty acids. They have been shown to block the release of catecholamines by activating an enzyme known as cyclooxygenase through a negative feedback loop. By adding a novel form of White Willow Bark Extract, a prostaglandin inhibitor, we were able to dramatically enhance the metabolic effects of D4.

As a preventative measure, we added a fourth mechanism to D4 involving a unique blend of cardiovascular stabilizers. By stimulating adrenal output certain individuals may experience mild side effects such as insomnia, headaches, dizziness, muscle spasms or anxiety.
